A.I.R extension#00 media

Since 2006 Katleen Vermeir & Ronny Heiremans started collaborating on A.I.R. The project takes their own working and living space as a starting point, which they consider as an art work. But in stead of showing this private space to the public the artists have been developing A.I.R as a series of mediated extensions of their habitat, a comment on the modern habit of relating to architecture not from physical experience, but rather from magazines, television, exhibitions...
A.I.R extension #00 are all the interviews the artists conducted and that appeared on TV, radio, in magazines or newspapers since 2006.

2006- Radio interview on KLARA, national radio in conversation with Annemie Tweepenninckx. This radio interview was the first public event to put the domestic space as an extension on air. The interview was conducted in Flemish.

2006- Christodoulos Panayiotou and Katleen Vermeir in conversation, Istanbul. The discussion took place at Platform Garanti, Istanbul, where they were both in residency. The discussion was recorded and written out in order to be proposed for a Greek magazine (not published).
